Sonesta Simply Suites Dallas Richardson

I had booked a room online for a discounted rate. when I arrived, Sonesta's computer was being updated and the clerk was not able to book me in at that moment. She was nice enough to find me a room and, as she stated, the update can take several hours. So she took my info and made a copy and we both agreed that she'll call me when it's time to run the transaction., regardless of the hour. I never heard the phone ring, however, at 8am I checked messages. She had left a message that she had run my account, but it was $20+ more than what I had originally booked the room for. So I spoke to the clerk on duty, and, she stated that I came in too early and then don't do early check in so I was charged normal fees. I explained to her the system was being updated and if it weren't, then I could've made a decision whether to stay and be charged full fee or come back at normalcheck in. She didn't care and charged me anyways.

We were moving our son to Dallas for a new job and we were concerned about the safety and the location. The location was perfect for us. The staff was friendly and the parking lot/area was secure. I felt safe the entire time we were there. We also had a dog traveling with us and we were happy with the quietness of the location for him.

Very nice & comfortable with the kitchen everything you need to cook & clean.

Extremely helpful employees! Eric the manager helped me with issues I was having and didn't hesitate to help.

The staff, the location, my overall experience was a delight.
